Spices - Cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg go well with blueberries. For a stronger lemon flavor, or if you don't have lemon zest, add lemon extract. Lemon juice - Just a squeeze of lemon juice can add a really great flavor.Įxtracts - You can vary the flavor of the jam by adding vanilla extract or even almond extract.
