This year’s event will focus on those who died from COVID-19 and will feature an exhibit of panels from artist Linda McBride’s rose petal COVID memorial at the Western Center for the Arts in Grand Junction, Colo. A Community Ofrenda, remembrance altar, will be on display indoors and folks can honor the memory of a loved one with a photograph or remembrance. Festivities include face painting contest, craft workshops for children to make sugar skulls and paper flowers artist demonstrations, a student art exhibit, Callejeros De Encinitas Car Club and food trucks.
